JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE appeal is for enhancement of claim for compensation for death of a male, aged 49 years, in an accident that took place on 06.05.1999. The deceased was an ASI in Haryana Police, drawing a salary of Rs. 8,227/ -. The claimants were the widow and 2 sons. The Tribunal made a deduction of compulsory deductions like PF and allowances and assessed a compensation of Rs. 5,32,000/ -. The compensation assessed is inadequate and I shall reappraise the compensation under various heads of claims and tabulate them as under: -
