JUDGEMENT

(1.) PRAYER made in the petition is for quashing of FIR No. 199 dated 5.7.2013 under Sections 365, 342, 323, 34 IPC registered at Police Station Dina Nagar, District Gurdaspur and all the proceedings arising therefrom.

(2.) THE aforementioned FIR was registered on the basis of statement made by respondent -Raman Kumar @ Raman Mahajan @ Happy on 5.7.2013 before ASI Ranjit Singh, Police Station Dina Nagar.

(3.) UPON appearance of the respondents, this Court vide order dated 18.9.2013 directed the petitioners on the one hand and respondents No.2 and 3, on the other, to appear before the Ilaqa Magistrate for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise. The said Court was directed to record the statements besides satisfying itself about the genuineness of the compromise. Report in that regard was required to be submitted to this Court and so also the copies of the statements of the parties.
