JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') seeking quashing of FIR No. 31 dated 06.07.2009 (Annexure P -1), registered for offences punishable under Sections 324, 323 read with Section 34 Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC) at Police Station Mantiana, District Hoshiarpur along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise (Annexure P -2).

(2.) AS per case of the prosecution, on 05.07.2009 at about 8.00 p.m., the petitioners in furtherance of their common intention, caused simple injuries with blunt as well as sharp edged weapons on the person of respondent No. 2.
