(2.) Mr. Kara Singh son of Jaswant Singh (petitioner) is present in Court.

(3.) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order (Annexure P/2) passed by respondent No.2 - Superintending Canal Officer, Sirhind Canal Circle, Ludhiana.
