JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 116 dated 25.10.2009 (Annexure P -1), registered at Police Station Banur District Patiala under Sections 307, 326, 324, 325, 323, 341, 342, 506, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short) and subsequent complaint No.351RT/2012 dated 1.4.2010 under Sections 307, 323,324, 325, 326, 341, 342, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Annexure P -4) as well as summoning order dated 20.12.2013 (Annexure P -5) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom in view of the compromise arrived between the parties.

(2.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners has submitted that initially the petitioners were found innocent during investigation. Petitioners were ordered to be summoned to face the trial on a protest petition moved by respondent No.2. Parties are closely related to each other. Now the parties have amicably settled their dispute.

(3.) IN pursuance to the said order, trial Court, after recording the statements of the parties, has reported that the compromise effected between the parties is genuine.
