JUDGEMENT

(1.) This order shall dispose of the present letters patent appeal which arises from an order passed by the learned Single Judge dismissing execution application No. 3882 of 1989 arising from C.W.P. No. 2253 of 1184 and C.W.P. No. 12375 of 1990 in which the same relief i.e. the order passed by this Court in C.W.P. No. 2253 of 1984 be implemented has been sought and that is why they are being disposed of together by this order.

(2.) Smt. Kirpaljeet Kaur (hereinafter referred to as the appellant) filed C.W.P. No. 2253 of 1984, who was working as Technical Assistant in the office of Director Public Instructions, Punjab in the pay scale of Rs. 200-500 seeking equation and parity with the pay scales of Lecturers (junior scale). This writ petition was allowed by the learned Single Judge on 28.9.1987 and in conclusion, the following directions were issued :-

(3.) On the basis of the judgment in the writ petition and the aforesaid contempt petition, the petitioner was released the pay scale of Rs. 700-1600 with effect from 1.1.1973 from the date it was released to the Lecturers (junior scale).
