(1.) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to file fresh representation as the representation dtd. 24/6/2023 (Annexure P-5) has already been submitted before respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Arif Ke, District Ferozepur and respondent No.4-Station House Officer, Khuian Sarwar, District Ferozepur, which has not been taken into consideration. Notice of Motion.
(2.) On asking of the Court, Mr. Hakam Singh, AAG Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4. After going through the contents of the representation, the representation seems to be vague, wherein no specific detail has been mentioned.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will file a detailed representation before respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur and he be directed to look into the grievances of the petitioners. Prayer is allowed and petitioners are directed to file a detailed representation before respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur as the life and liberty of the petitioners is at stake. On their doing so, respondent No.2 is directed to look into the grievances of the petitioners and to deal with the representation in accordance with law. Disposed of.
