JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application for amendment of the writ petition. For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Amended writ petition is taken on record.

(2.) Challenge in this writ petition is to the order dated 20.9.2012 (Annexure P-8) passed by the Financial Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Taxation) Punjab-respondent No.2 rejecting the representation dated 12.3.2012 submitted by the petitioner claiming the benefit of counting Military service rendered by him from 30.4.1972 to 27.7.1977, prior to joining civil services towards pension.

(3.) Petitioner served the Indian Army from 30.4.1972 to 27.7.1977.
