RAJINDER SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS order will dispose of the above mentioned two petitions i.e. Criminal Misc. No.M-13678 of 2013 filed by petitioners Rajinder Singh and another and Criminal Misc. No.M-17520 of 2013 filed by petitioner S.S.Anand, in which they seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.65 dated 22.03.2013 registered at Police Station Phase- 1, Mohali for the offences under Sections 406, 498-A IPC.

(2.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners contended that there is no article lying with the petitioners. They have already joined the investigation. Nothing is to be recovered from them and a false case has been registered against the petitioners and there is a video recording in which the girl was having no grudge against the petitioners.

(3.) FROM the record, I find that as per Investigating Officer, dowry articles have not been returned though the petitioners have joined the investigation. The gold ornaments and other dowry articles are supposed to be in possession of the husband and these are yet to be recovered as per the Investigating Officer.
