RANJIT SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner has approached this Court under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 33 dated 16.04.2013, registered under Sections 452, 323, 354, 447, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Nehianwala, District Bathinda. On instructions, the learned State counsel states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.

(2.) IN view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 20.06.2013, is made absolute, subject to the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petition stands allowed.
