JAGJIT SINGH Vs. JANAMJIT KAUR AND OTHERS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner, herein, has sought transfer of civil appeal No. 217 of 15.2.2012 (Annexure P -3) pending in the Court of Ms. Anshul Berry, Additional District Judge, Patiala titled Jagjit Singh v. Janamjit Kaur and others and criminal appeal No. 10 of 08.04.2013 titled Amar Singh v. Mukhtiar Singh and others pending in the Court of Ms. Jatinder Kaur, Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala, to one Court. This revision is not maintainable under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, as at the first instance, it was required of the petitioner to approach the Court of District and Sessions Judge for transfer of both the matters to one Court and for disposal, thereof, on one date.

(2.) SO , the instant revision petition is, dismissed with the observation that the petitioner should approach the District and Sessions Judge, Patiala for transfer of both the matters to one Court.
