JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been moved by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking quashing of case FIR No.65 dated 3.6.2011, registered at Police Station Sultanpur Lodhi, District Kapurthala, under Sections 406/420 of the Indian Penal Code and 24 of Immigration Act, along with all consequential proceedings arising from it, on the basis of compromise dated 24.8.2012 (Annexure P-2).

(2.) Vide order dated 22.3.2013, parties were directed to appear before the trial Court to get their statements recorded with regard to compromise and the trial Court was directed to submit its report.

(3.) Learned trial Court has submitted the report vide letter dated 4.4.2013 which indicates that parties appeared before it and got recorded their respective statements with regard to validity of compromise. As per the report, compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine and without any pressure or coercion from any corner. Now no dispute is pending between the parties.
