JUDGEMENT

(1.) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.357 dated 3.12.2011, registered at Police Station Sector-5, Panchkula, under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, along with all the subsequent proceedings arising from it, on the basis of compromise dated 31.03.2012 (Annexure P-5).

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is not pressing the petition on merits and does not want to refer to the averments made in the petition and prays for quashing of the FIR in question on the basis of compromise.
