VIDE this order, I intend to dispose of Crl.M.No.M 11607 of 2013 titled as Ravi Kumar vs. State of Punjab, Crl.M.No.M 18060 of 2013 titled as Sunesh Kumar vs. State of Punjab and Crl.M.No.M 19918 of 2013 titled as Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi vs. State of Punjab, as all these three petitions have arisen out of FIR No. 144 dated 19.6.2012 under Sections 420, 489 B, 489 C, 120 B IPC registered at Police Station Kotwali, Patiala.
(2.) ALL the three petitioners have applied for grant of regular bail in the abovesaid FIR.
(3.) ACCORDINGLY , naka was held. At about 12.15 p.m. one I 20 car bearing registration No. JK 02 AP 3466 white colour came from Rajpura side, which was signaled to stop by SI. Instead of stopping the car, the driver of the car tried to run away towards left side road of Radio Station. Due to nervousness of the driver, the car turned off. A Hindu clean shaven man aged about 30 32 years came out of the car by opening the rear door of the car and ran towards Phase 3 who was identified by ASI Guljar Singh as Kamaljit Singh @ Rimpi applicant. ASI Lakhwinder Singh and HC Iqbal Singh were directed to follow the person who ran away. Both persons sitting on the front seats in the car were overpowered and their names and addresses were enquired, on which the driver of the car disclosed his name as Ravi Kumar s/o Prem Chand r/o House No. 264, Kasam Nagar, Narwal Jammu applicant and the person sitting on the adjoining seat disclosed his name as Abhishek @ Dimpy s/o Satya Veer. During the search of the car, from the driver Ravi Kumar 2 packets containing 200 fake currency notes of denomination of Rs.1000/ each i.e. Rs. 2 lacs were recovered from the right and left pockets of the pant worn by him. The same were put in a plastic box and a separate parcel was prepared. On the search of Abhishek @ Dimpy, 180 fake currency notes of denomination of Rs.1000/ each i.e. Rs.1,80,000/ were recovered from the right and left pockets of the pant worn by him. Later on Sunesh Kumar was arrested and fake currency notes of Rs.50,000/ of denomination of Rs.1000/ each were recovered from him.
