FEELING aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way of instant writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the grievance of the petitioner was not being redressed by the respondent authorities, he finally approached respondent No. 2 by way of representation dated 13.9.2012 (Annexure P -6). Claim of the petitioner was recommended by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Patiala, vide communication dated 25.3.2013 (Annexure P -7), however, no final action thereon is being taken so far, without disclosing any reason. He further submits that now the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the order dated 24.7.2013 (Annexure P -8) passed by the 1st Division Bench of this Court in CWP No. 3070 of 2011 (Sikh Danga Peerit Welfare Committee (Punjab) Vs. State of Punjab and others). He concluded by submitting that the petitioner will be satisfied in case the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala -respondent No. 2 is directed to consider and decide the matter in view of the above said order dated 24.7.2013.

HAVING heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, including the issue of limitation, if any, the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala -respondent No. 2 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner, raised vide his representation dated 13.9.2012 (Annexure P -6) which was further recommended by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Patiala vide communication dated 25.3.2013 (Annexure P -7) and also in view of the order dated 24.7.2013 (Annexure P -8) passed by the 1st Division Bench of this Court in CWP No. 3070 of 2011 (Sikh Danga Peerit Welfare Committee (Punjab Vs. State of Punjab and others), so as to decide it at an early date by passing an appropriate order thereon, in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With the observations made above, the present petition stands disposed of.
