JUDGEMENT

(1.) WE have heard the learned counsel for the parties at length and perused the record of the case.

(2.) THE petitioner has challenged the order dated 24 -05 -2002, Annexure P -10, removing her name from the approved list of Executive Clerical Cadre (Extra Hand) with immediate effect and transferring her to the Police Line for General Duty Constables.

(3.) THE petitioner had submitted an application for regular absorbtion in the Executive Clerical Cadre on the ground that her husband had died during service in the Punjab Police. She had been recruited on compassionate grounds. She had to look after two small children.
