JUDGEMENT

(1.) The question which arises for determination in this appeal is whether the suit brought by the plaintiff-respondent Arya Pritinidhi Sabha for removal of an encroachment made by the appellant Lal Chand in front of his house on a public street in a village which is part of the abadi deh is maintainable in view of the provisions of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 .
