JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner was convicted by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Rajpura vide judgment and order dated 5.2.2011, for offences under Sections 279/304-A/337 IPC and sentenced as under:- <FRM>JUDGEMENT_492_LAWS(P&H)5_20121.html</FRM>

(2.) All the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.

(3.) On appeal, the conviction and sentence of imprisonment awarded to the petitioner was maintained. However, the period already undergone by him, while in police custody, judicial custody or during the trial, was ordered to be set off towards substantive sentence as provided under Section 428 CrPC.
