AMAR LAL Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing of FIR No.37 dated 4.4.2011, registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 471, 406, 120B of the Indian Penal Code (for short, 'the IPC'), at Police Station City Fazilka, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

(2.) WHILE issuing the notice of motion, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court for getting their statements recorded.

(3.) THE learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Puran Singh, states that he has no objection in case the present petition is allowed.
