JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing FIR No. 28 dated 18.2.2003, under Sections 458, 323, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code ('IPC' for short), registered at Police Station Payal, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1) and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom in view of the compromise dated 3.7.2012 arrived at between the parties(Annexure P2).

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the parties have arrived at a compromise with the intervention of the relatives and respectables .

(3.) Respondent No.2-Kuldeep Singh is present in person alongwith his counsel and has admitted the factum of compromise between the parties. He has stated that he has no objection,if the FIR is ordered to be quashed. He has tendered his affidavit on record in this regard.
