(1.) Ram Murti, the petitioner has sought pre-arrest bail in a case registered by way of FIR No. 29 dated 27.02.2012 at Police Station Ferozepur Cantt, District Ferozepur, for an offence punishable under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC.

The case, in brief, is that one Net Ram lodged a report against some persons including the petitioner for an offence punishable under sections 452 and 323 read with section 34 IPC and section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act with Police Station Khuian Server by way of FIR No.25 dated 19.03.2011 . In that case, while applying for bail, an agreement was set up, which is alleged to have been executed by Net Ram after receiving damages. The said agreement is said to be forged, as on the same the thumb impression of some one else in the name of Net Ram is said to be there.
(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no role in the entire occurrence. According to him, the petitioner did not set up that agreement before the court for seeking bail. He further submits that the allegations in the FIR also clearly show that the offence has been committed by Kavish Kumar and the witnesses Ram Sarup and Sikander. According to him, the petitioner has already joined the investigation and has cooperated with the same.
