BHAJAN SINGH Vs. DHARAM PAL GUPTA AND ANR

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner(tenant) has filed the present revision under Section 15(5) of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 assailing the order dated 09.03.2010 passed by learned Rent Controller, Nakodar whereby petitioner(tenant) has been evicted from the demised shop of cloth merchant being run by him and in his possession since the year 1980 and the judgment dated 02.02.2012 passed by the learned Appellate Authority, Jalandhar wherein in the appeal the findings have been affirmed. This Court while issuing notice of motion on 29 th May 2012 has passed the following order:-

(2.) Learned Counsel for the petitioner(tenant) on instructions from petitioner Bhajan Singh who is present in the Court requests for 1-1/2 years time to make alternative arrangement and shift his inventory from his shop of cloth merchant.

(3.) In response, learned Counsel for the respondents(landlords) graciously agrees to the aforesaid proposal made by the counsel for the petitioner(tenant).
