Complainant Balbir Singh has filed the present application under Section 378(4) Cr.P.C. with a prayer for grant of special leave to appeal against the judgment dated 14.6.2011 passed by Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Hisar whereby the accused-respondents were acquitted of the charges under Sections 364 and 120-B IPC.
(2.) According to the complainant, his son Sushil was married to Nisha-accused on 30.3.2006. Sushil was not happy with his marriage. His wife once paid him Rs.23/- for bringing some medicine. He did not understand as to what he was asked to bring. When his wife clarified the name of the medicine, Sushil asked her to bring two sets of celphos tablets for herself himself. She was then taken to her parents house on 10.7.2006.
(3.) When she did not return home, the Panchayats of the villages of the complainant and his daughter-in-law held a meeting at Police Station Agroha. On 10.9.2006, Sushil brought Nisha back but there was no change in her behaviour. She continued to extend a threat that she would commit suicide. The complainant asked his son to leave the village and contact his wife's uncle, who was an influential person and likely to arrange a government job for him.
