JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the FIR No.27 dated 26.02.2010(Annexure P-1) for the offence under Section 420/406 IPC registered at Police Station City S.B.S.Nagar and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

(2.) There is a dispute between the petitioner and respondent No.2 for Rs.55,000/-, which has been paid back to him.

(3.) Respondent No.2 appeared through counsel and filed his reply by way of short affidavit admitting that the matter has been compromised with the petitioner and now he is having no objection if the FIR in question with consequential proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua petitioner. The compromise is voluntarily and without any pressure. Learned State counsel does not dispute the genuineness of the compromise/affidavit (Annexure P-2) annexed with the petition.
