JUDGEMENT

(1.) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of the respondent authorities, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., invoking its inherent jurisdiction, seeking direction to the official respondents to arrest private respondent No.4, who was a proclaimed offender.

(2.) Notice of motion was issued and pursuant thereto, reply by way of affidavit dated 5.12.2011 of Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), on behalf of the State, was filed.

(3.) Thereafter, vide order dated 13.7.2012, this Court directed the respondents to make further efforts for apprehending the proclaimed offender i.e. Respondent No.4. In compliance of the order dated 13.7.2012, affidavit dated 12.9.2012 of Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), filed in the Court today, is taken on record.
