JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner/tenant-company is in revision against the order dated 18.8.2012 (P1) passed by the learned Rent Controller, Chandigarh whereby its application under Order 7 Rule 14 CPC for production of certain documents has been dismissed.

(2.) It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner/tenant that before filing of the written statement in the eviction petition filed by the respondent/landlord from the demised premises, application for production of documents

(3.) Learned counsel contends that providing of the list of articles handed over to the petitioner/tenant by the respondent/landlord is absolutely necessary for filing of the written statement, therefore, the request having been declined vide impugned order cannot be sustained. After hearing the learned counsel and going through the impugned order, in my opinion, the argument advanced is devoid of any merit and liable to be dismissed.
