(1.) CM No.12258-CII of 2012 Allowed as prayed for. Main Case

(2.) JAGIR Kaur etc. have filed this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India assailing order dated 20.08.2011 Annexure P-1 passed by learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Amritsar (in short, the Tribunal) Kulwant Singh was one of the claimants in claim petition filed under the Motor Vehicles Act claiming compensation for the death of mother of the claimants caused in accident. The Tribunal vide award dated 04.06.2010, awarded compensation of `1,97,000/- with interest to be disbursed equally among the five claimants.

(3.) LEARNED Tribunal vide impugned order dated 20.08.2011 Annexure P-1 dismissed the application of petitioners on the ground that no succession certificate had been produced by the petitioners. Feeling aggrieved, petitioners have filed this revision petition.
