(2.) GURBACHAN Singh has filed this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India assailing order dated 04.04.2012 passed by learned Rent Controller, Amritsar thereby dismissing application Annexure P-5 moved by the petitioner herein for staying proceedings of the ejectment petition which has been instituted by Gurdwara Committee-respondent herein against the petitioner GURBACHAN Singh under Section 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 (in short, the Act).

(3.) I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the case file.
