JUDGEMENT

(1.) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No. 235, dated 9.8.2008, under Sections 324 and 452, IPC, registered at Police Station, Baghapurana, District Moga, and the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise.

(2.) Vide order dated 21.8.2012, this Court had directed the affected parties to appear on 3.9.2012 before the learned Trial Court for getting their respective statements recorded with regard to the compromise. The said Court was also directed to submit its detailed report in that regard on or before the date fixed by this Court.

(3.) In compliance of the above, the petitioner, Jaspreet Singh; respondent No. 2-complainant, Sandeep Kaur; as well as respondent No. 3-injured, Sukhmander Singh, did appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Moga, and suffered their statements with regard to the compromise. Sandeep Kaur and Sukhmander Singh stated that they had lodged the impugned FIR. Due to the intervention of the respectable persons of the society, a compromise had been effected. They had no grudge against each other and living peacefully. Similar statement was also suffered by the petitioner with regard to the compromise.
