(1.) BY filing the present petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner has sought regular bail in case FIR No.129, dated 10.9.2011, registered under Sections 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, at Police Station Dirba, District Sangrur. Heard.

(2.) THE petitioner was not arrested from the spot. Challan has been presented. No witness has been examined so far. No other FIR is stated to be pending against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 29.9.2011. The conclusion of the trial is likely to take a long time.
