JUDGEMENT

(1.) Palwinder Singh and Kuljit Kaur, the petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in a case registered by way of FIR No. 75 dated 21.3.2012 at Police Station Cantonment, Amritsar City for an offence punishable under sections 452, 341, 447 and 506 of Indian Penal Code.

(2.) Tarlok Singh Bedi, the complainant is owner of Kothi No. 18, Gali No. 2, Hargobind Avenue, Ajnala Road, Amritsar. Ground floor of this house had been let out to petitioner No.1, Palwinder Singh, who is residing therein with his co-petitioner and family members. The allegations are that a room on the first floor was in possession of the .. landlord and that the petitioners broke open the lock of that room, took away the belongings of the complainant therefrom and even prevented the complainant to have access to that room.

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that this is the second FIR in quick succession of the first one. According to him, in the first FIR, it was alleged that the petitioners broke open the lock of the aforesaid room and committed theft of the articles lying therein. In that matter, the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this court.
