V/S
STATE OF HARYANA Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONER has approached this Court claiming the higher scale in pursuance to the Assured Career Progression Scheme (for short, 'ACP Scheme') formulated by the State of Haryana.

(2.) IT is the contention of the petitioner that he was entitled to the next grade as per the ACP Scheme after completion of 11 years of service and the second grade after 17 years of regular satisfactory service. He contends that he has completed the requisite period but the said relief has not been granted to the petitioner.

(3.) COUNSEL for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary to Government of Haryana, Development & Panchayat Department, respondent No.1, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.8.2011 (Annexure P-9) as recommended by the Chief Engineer, within some specified time.
