JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present appeal has been filed by the appellant against the judgment/order dated 12.11.2007/14.11.2007, passed by the Addl. Sessions Judge, Jind, whereby he was convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs. 8000/- under Section 302 IPC and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year.

(2.) The appellant was further convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years and to pay a fine of Rs. 1500/- under Section 394 IPC and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of six months.

(3.) The appellant was also convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay a fine of Rs. 500/- under Section 449 IPC and in default of payment of fine, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one month. All the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
