JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal has been filed against the judgment/order dated 21.11.2000, whereby the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nawanshahar (SBS Nagar), convicted the appellant under Section 325 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay a fine of Rs. 2000/- and in default of payment of fine to further undergo RI for six months.

(3.) After completing the investigation, the challan was filed in the Court and the accused appellant was charged under Section 307 of IPC, to which, he did not plead guilty and claimed trial.
