JUDGEMENT

(1.) Gurminder Singh, the petitioner has brought this petition under the provisions of section 482 Cr. P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 89 dated 11.11.2008 registered at Police Station Division No. 4, District Ludhiana for an offence punishable under sections 307, 323, 324, 186, 353 and 506 of Indian Penal Code alongwith all the subsequent proceedings arising out of the same, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

On notice of the petition, the complainant, Kulwant Singh, Vicky alias Sharandeep Singh and Rajiv Kumar Sharma, respondents No. 2 to 4 alongwith Mr. Vikram Rathore, Advocate have appeared before me. They admit that the matter has been compromised between the parties. In this regard, affidavits of respondents No. 2 to 4 have been placed on record as Annexures P3 to P5.

Vide orders dated 19.10.2011, passed by this court, the parties were directed to appear before the trial court on 4.11.2011 in order to make statements with regard to the compromise arrived at between them. Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana recorded statements of respondents no. 2 to 4 and submitted his report vide letter dated 22.11.2011. According to him, the parties have compromised the matter. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the possession of the property in dispute over the delivery of which the occurrence took place has already been handed over to the landlord and no cause of discord is left between the parties.
