JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.' for short) for quashing of the FIR No. 45 dated 21.8.2011, under Section 420, 468, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code ('IPC' for short) and Section 12 of Indian Passport Act, 1967 ('Act' for short) registered at Police Station Mehta, District Amritsar (Annexure P-1) and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom in view of the compromise dated 22.3.2012 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that now with the intervention of relatives and friends parties have arrived at a compromise.

(3.) Respondent No.2 is present in person along with his counsel and has admitted the factum of compromise between the parties and has stated that he has no objection if the FIR in question is ordered to be quashed. He has tendered his affidavit in this regard.
