JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.12 dated 7.3.2009 (Annexure P.8), registered at Police Station Bathhinda Cantt. under Section 3(1)(10) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989) ('the Act' in short).

(2.) Petitioner, who had filed this petition in person has submitted that now with the intervention of the respectables and friends, parties have arrived at a compromise.

(3.) Learned counsel for respondent No.3- complainant has admitted the factum of compromise between the parties and has tendered the affidavit of respondent No.3 on record in this regard. Respondent No.3 in his affidavit has declared as under:-
