(1.) Parveen @ Thakur @ Imported, the petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered by way of FIR No. 138 dated 30.7.2010 at Police Station Division No. 6, Ludhiana for an offence punishable under sections 302, 364 read with section 34 of Indian Penal Code.
(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that Raman Arora alias Romi (deceased) went missing on 27.7.2010. According to him, his wife, Reema Arora lodged a missing report on 28.7.2010 at 5.00 PM. He drew my attention in this regard to Annexure P2, a copy of entry in daily diary of the police station dated 28.7.2010. According to him, in this report, she claimed before the police that her husband, Raman Arora alias Romi left the house on 27.7.2010 at 9.00 AM and that he had not returned. She had claimed in the said report that he went on Eterno scooter bearing registration No. PB-10-BQ-2691. She is also said to have stated in the said report that she had been searching her husband through the friends and relations, but she did not have any information.

According to him, she further told in the report that earlier to 2.00 PM on 27.7.2010, the phone of her husband was working and that she had talked with him during which he told her that he was coming home. She has then stated that the mobile phone of her husband was then switched off. She did not suspect any body till that time and she even did not want any action against any one. He has submitted that the FIR was lodged on 30.7.2010 with a completely changed version. According to him, in the FIR, she has stated that her husband has been working as property dealer and Pawan Kumar alias Mintu and Parveen Thakur @ Imported were known to her husband being in the business of property.
