JUDGEMENT

(1.) DILWARA Singh seeks parole for four weeks so as to enable him to repair his house. His application to the Inspector General of Prisons had been rejected vide Memo. No.45240 GIP/P-4R-9-2-D760 dated 9-10.1987.

(2.) IN the return filed, it was admitted that the parole case of the petitioner had been initiated by the Superintendent, Central Jail, Ludhiana for house repairs. The District Magistrate was then consulted and the following report was made by the Senior Superintendent of Police :
