GURLAL SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.62 dtd. 1/4/2017 registered under Ss. 279, 304-A, 427 IPC at Police Station Patran, District Patiala (challan presented under Ss. 304, 279, 337 and 427 IPC).

(2.) Counsel for the petitioner has argued that the petitioner was granted regular bail and was appearing before the trial Court, however, he absented from the Court proceedings on 16/9/2021 and the trial Court has issued warrants of arrest against him. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and apply for regular bail.

(3.) Mr. Joginder Pal Ratra, DAG, Punjab who is present in the Court accepts notice on behalf of the respondent - State and has not raised any serious objections.
