JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition under Sec. 439 Cr.P.C. is filed for regular bail in FIR No. 19, dtd. 6/2/2021, under Ss. 406 & 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Shahkot, District Jalandhar (Rural).

(2.) There is a prayer for interim bail on the ground of the medical condition of the wife of the petitioner. As per the pleadings the wife of the petitioner is expecting and her expected date of delivery is in third week of September, 2021.

(3.) The brief facts of the case are that FIR was registered at the instance of Sangeeta Kumari. The allegations were that the petitioner duped her of amount of Rs.15.00 lacs on the pretext of sending her, her son and brother to abroad. Some amount was paid through banking cheques.
