NAVDEEP KAUR Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Accused Navdeep Kaur has filed this petition for bail in case FIR No. 197 dated 4.12.2010, under sections 406, 494, 498-A, 323, 324 IPC, registered at Police Station Phagwara City, District Kapurthala.

(2.) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the case file.

(3.) Parties have effected compromise Annexure P/6. Counsel for respondent no. 2 -- complainant admits the said compromise. As per compromise, out of total amount of Rs nine lacs to be paid to the complainant, a sum of Rs 2.5 lacs had already been paid and the balance amount of Rs 6.5 lacs is to be paid at the time of quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise.
