SATPAL Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The application prays for suspension of sentence of applicant Satpal, who has been convicted for commission of offence under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

(2.) Learned State counsel submits that the issue of bail of applicant Satpal is admittedly covered by Daler Singh v. State of Punjab,2007 1 RecCriR 316.

(3.) In view of the fact that the case is covered by Daler Singh's case (supra), application is allowed. Sentence of the applicant-appellant shall remain suspended during the pendency of appeal.
