GEETA GUPTA Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB AND ORS.

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE present petition has been filed under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure praying that Respondents No. 1 to 3 be directed to conclude the investigation of case FIR No. 50 dated 30.1.2010, registered at Police Station City, Amritsar, under Section 420 IPC.

(2.) ISSUE notice of motion.

(3.) LEARNED Counsel for the Respondents, after examining the contents of the petition, has very fairly submitted that the State shall make every endeavour to conclude the investigation of the above said FIR within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and thereafter the final report along with opinion of the Investigating Officer shall be filed in the Court of competent jurisdiction.
