JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a petition for anticipatory bail filed in case bearing FIR No. 39 dated 07.07.2010, under Sections 420, 120 -B IPC registered at Police Station Mataur, Distt. Mohali.

(2.) LEARNED DAG, on instructions from SI Harkeerat Singh, has corroborated that Ranjit Singh was, in fact, produced before the then investigating officer but states that now the investigation has been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing and, therefore, the Petitioner should be directed to appear before the new investigating officer. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that he would have no objection but that the anticipatory bail granted to the Petitioner should be confirmed.
