JUDGEMENT

(1.) This court on 16.03.2011 has passed the following order:-

(2.) Mr. Raghbir Chaudhary, learned Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab assures that positive action shall be taken on Annexure P/5 within 30 days from today. If Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat -- respondent No.2 is prima facie satisfied that there is encroachment over the panchayat land, he will direct the official(s) to initiate eviction proceedings against the encroachers.

(3.) On the statement made by the learned Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, learned counsel for the petitioner states that present petition be disposed of in terms of the aforesaid statement.
