JUDGEMENT

(1.) PRESENT petition has been filed under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure seeking a direction to the official Respondents to initiate legal action against Respondent No. 7 in a case FIR No. 12 dated 09.03.2010 registered at Police Station Dera Baba Nanak, District Gurdaspur under Sections 363 and 366 IPC.

(2.) ISSUE notice of motion to Respondents No. 1 to 6 only. On the asking of Court, Mr. B.S. Sra, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State. A copy of the petition has been supplied to him.

(3.) A grievance has been made out in the present petition that since Respondent No. 7 has been declared as a proclaimed offender, therefore he should be apprehended. It is stated that even being declared as a proclaimed offender, Respondent No. 7 is roaming freely and is not being arrested.
