(1.) THE Petitioner had approached this Court for setting -aside the appointments of Respondent Nos. 4 to 7 as Secretaries made by Respondent No. 3. He had also sought further direction for Respondent No. 3 to appoint the Petitioner or alternatively consider the case of the Petitioner for appointment as Secretary.
(2.) RELIANCE was placed on some of the similar writ petitions, which had been filed. Taking this into account, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner was requested to find out the status of those writ petitions, where similar challenge had been so raised and where the prayer for appointment had been made.
(3.) FOLLOWING the same course, the present writ petition is also disposed of as infructuous as the relief claimed in the writ petition has become in fructuous by lapse of over two decades.
