JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a petition challenging the order dated 06.06.2009, passed by Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ropar, declaring the petitioner proclaimed offender under Section 82 Cr.P.C.

(2.) BRIEF facts giving rise to the present petition are that respondent No.2 herein has filed one criminal complaint under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 149 IPC. Learned Magistrate vide order dated 25.01.2008 was pleased to summon the petitioners to face trial for offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 506, 149 IPC. Petitioners were declared proclaimed offenders vide order dated 06.06.2009.

(3.) MR . Sanjiv Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, has fairly stated that petitioner shall appear/surrender before the trial court on 16.01.2012.
