SOMVATI Vs. MALWA GRAMIN BANK AND ORS.

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE grouse of the Petitioner in the present petition is that she has been subjected to sexual harassment by Respondent No. 3, who is working as Branch Manager in Malwa Gramin Bank, Balian Branch, Sangrur. The Petitioner has also prayed that keeping in view the nature of complainant, she be transferred at some nearby place.

(2.) THE case came up for hearing on 04.10.2011 and the prayer of the Petitioner for transfer was accepted as the Petitioner was transferred at Khanal Kallan. The petition qua to this relief has become infructuous.

(3.) IN view of the submissions made by the learned Counsel for Respondents No. 1 and 2 as well as pleading in the case as well as the fact that the Petitioner has been transferred to some other place and the Committee has been constituted, no further direction is required at this stage.
